Aims and Objectives

To actively promote and ease the export of rice to international markets, expanding the reach of the domestic rice industry.

To provide members with the latest market intelligence, including information on global rice demand, pricing trends, and competitors, helping them make informed business decisions.

Offer training programs and workshops for association members to improve their knowledge and skills in the rice export business.
To help collaborate and take out trade delegations as and when required.
Help get regular liaison with State and Central Government agencies like APEDA, EIC, AGMARK, FSSAI, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP), ICAR, IARI, State Agriculture Universities, Agriculture Departments, Indian Institute of Rice Research, etc.
To help get liaison with Government agencies related to trade issues such as financial assistance, incentives, etc., available within multiple schemes.
Regular contact Regular liaison State and Central Government agencies such as APEDA, EIC, AGMARK, FSSAI, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP), ICAR, IARI, State Agriculture Universities, Agriculture Departments, Indian Institute of Rice Research etc.
To identify and target new international markets for rice exports, increasing the global footprint of the rice industry.
Collaboration with Government agencies on matters of trade like incentives, financial assistance, etc. available under various schemes
Help collect, compare, and analyse statistical data on the international scenario of production and trade of rice.
To share the exporter’s trade leads as and when received among members.
Help perform publicity campaigns worldwide to create awareness of India Basmati rice and its features to importers, consumers, and Government agencies.

To ensure that exported rice meets international quality standards and regulations, building a positive reputation for the association and the industry.

To advocate for the interests of rice exporters through policy recommendations and efforts at national and international forums.
