IREF Invites Secretary (DARE) & DG (ICAR) to BIRC 2025

In a major step towards bringing together the foremost voices in agriculture and food security, Dev Garg, National Vice President of the Indian Rice Exporters Federation (IREF), extended a formal invitation to Dr. Mangi Lal Jat, Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR), to participate in the Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2025, scheduled to be held on 30th & 31st October at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

During this meeting, Dev Garg highlighted the critical importance of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in shaping India’s agricultural landscape and innovation ecosystem. He noted that Dr. Jat’s participation in BIRC 2025 would significantly enrich the event’s discourse on sustainable rice cultivation, agricultural research, and policy development.
