On Monday, September 8, BJP President JP Nadda announced that PM Modi will launch the new govt health scheme “Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan” on September 17. The initiative intends to improve healthcare services for women and children in India. The programme will emphasise enhancing access to quality healthcare and disseminating awareness on women’s and children’s health.
What did Nadda say further about the New Govt Health Scheme?
Taking to X(formerly Twitter), Nadda wrote, “Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @NarendraModi ji will launch the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan on 17th September 2025. This initiative aims to strengthen healthcare services for women and children across India, ensuring better access, quality care, and awareness.”
As part of the New Govt Health scheme, from September 17 to October 2, 75,000 health camps will be organised at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, Community Health Centres, and other healthcare facilities nationwide.
The Post further read: “As part of the nationwide Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan, 75,000 health camps will be organised at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, Community Health Centres (CHCs), and other healthcare facilities. These camps will provide essential services specifically designed to address the healthcare needs of women and children, supporting the government’s vision of inclusive healthcare.”
Moreover, he wrote further: Apart from this, ‘Poshan Maah’ will be celebrated in all Anganwadis, which aims to promote nutrition, health awareness and overall well-being. These efforts will take important steps towards building healthy families and strong communities.
Besides this, Nadda has urged private hospitals and healthcare stakeholders to come forward and be an integral part of this public participation campaign. He encouraged them by asking them to play a significant role in improving the healthcare ecosystem of the country. While resonating the collective responsibility, Nadda stated, I urge all private hospitals and health sector partners to come forward and be an integral part of this public participation campaign. Inspired by the spirit of ‘India First’, let us all strengthen our collective efforts to build a developed India”.
