Isha Garg, Entrepreneur, Global Trade Leader and Exporter of Premium Basmati Rice and the Director of Vi Exports India, was honoured with the prestigious Naari Shakti Excellence Award by Smt. Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, GoI & Shree Lumbaram Choudhary, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha (Jalore, Rajasthan) at the national seminar “Empower Women, Empower India – Viksit Bharat with Naari Shakti” held at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi. The award recognizes her outstanding contribution to India’s agri-export sector, especially in promoting Basmati rice trade on global platforms.
The award to Isha Garg, an Entrepreneur & Global Trade Leader symbolizes her leadership skills and her skills to empower women in a domain which is traditionally dominated by men. The Naari Shakti Excellence Award by Prayass Events & Exhibitions was given in recognition of the innovative business practices, and efforts of Isha Garg in expanding India’s rice exports.
Empower Women, Empower India – Viksit Bharat with Naari Shakti
The event, organized by Prayass Events & Exhibitions, aimed to celebrate women leading India’s growth story. The award was presented in the presence of dignitaries, including Smt. Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest, and Shree Lumbaram Choudhary, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha (Jalore, Rajasthan), as Special Guest.
Dr. Prem Garg, National President of Indian Rice Exporters Federation (IREF), also participated in the event and presented a memento of the upcoming Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC 2025) to the Chief Guest. Dr. Garg the national president of IREF invited dignitaries to attend BIRC 2025, the World’s Largest Rice Conference, to be held on 30–31 October 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
