Haryana has been awarded with the Policy Leadership Award for its outstanding contributions to agriculture and farmer welfare. At the 16th Agriculture Leadership Conclave 2025, held in New Delhi the Union Minister of Commerce & Industry Sh. Piyush Goyal presented the award to the Chief Minister of Haryana, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini. Chief Minister of Haryana dedicated the award to the dedicated and hardworking farmers of Haryana.
Policy Leadership Award Dedicated to the Farmers
While addressing the gatherings at the award ceremony, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that Agriculture in India is more than an economic activity, it is rooted in the nation’s culture and identity. While dedicating the award to the hardworking farmers of the state he stated that farmers as Annadaatas (food providers), are central to the vision of a Developed India by 2047. For the unversed, developed India by 2047 is a goal set by Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi. A prosperous India is possible only when its farmers are empowered and self-reliant said the CM while accepting the award.
Haryana a Role Model in Agriculture and Startups
Union Minister of Commerce & Industry appreciated the commendable efforts of Haryana Govt. and applauded the works of state govt. in the agriculture sector and startups. Sh. Piyush Goyal stated that Haryana is consistently advancing under CM Saini’s dynamic leadership.
