IREF Participates In The Summer Fancy Food Show 2026 In New York

Recently, IREF participated in the Summer Fancy Food Show 2026 at Javits Centre, New York, from 28 to 30 June 2026, along with the APEDA pavilion with a space of 18 sq mtr. Notably, the organisation was represented by Shri Ashish Jain, Vice President – IREF Benin, Shri Nikit Ramdasani, Vice President, Shipping (Gujarat), Shri A Pracha, Ms Sidra, Mr Rizwan, Mr Faisal Javed and Mr Jagannath Biswas Several dignitaries visited the IREF stall, including Shri Binaya Srikant Pradhan, Consul General of India in New York, Shri Abhishek Dey, Chairman of Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), and Shri Neeraj Kharwal, Managing Director of India Trade Promotion Organisation, accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. They were felicitated with the IREF Scarf and the BIRC Trophy. Their visit made the event truly memorable and encouraging. The event turned out to be tremendous and overwhelming, providing an excellent platform for Indian exporters to showcase a wide range of agricultural products, with special emphasis on premium Basmati rice. With the growing demand and substantial expansion of Indian products in the United States market, Indian basmati exporters under the umbrella of the Indian Rice Exporters Federation (IREF) received a good response from buyers, distributors, and industry participants. Moreover, the event reaffirmed the strong global recognition of Indian agricultural products and highlighted the increasing popularity of Indian basmati rice in international markets.


About the Summer Food Fancy Show in New York 2026

The 2026 Summer Fancy Food Show was graced by tens of thousands of speciality food professionals for the industry’s premier product discovery event. Moreover, the Speciality Food Association is the organiser of the event. In New York City’s Javits Convention Centre, 2,400 companies are exhibiting thousands of foods and beverages, 1,000 of which are new products. In addition, the event showcases thousands of speciality products across 49 global pavilions. Featured categories include imported and domestic gourmet foods, beverages, emerging artisan brands, and new-to-market innovations spanning six football fields of exhibition space at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Centre.
