Myanmar rice exports figure has touched a historic high of 1.5 million tons. The figure presented by the state-owned Myanmar Radio and Television presented the figures of rice and broken rice in the first seven months of the current fiscal year 2025-2026. Given the rice prices of Myanmar and its high rice trade due to god production the Southeast Asian country has so far earned 499 million U.S. dollars from rice exports from April to October this year. The Myanmar rice federation aims to achieve 3 million tons of rice exports in the current fiscal year.
Like the Indian rice Exporters Federation (IREF) , Myanmar Rice federation is an apex body which plays a crucial role modernizing and boosting Myanmar’s rice industry.
