Uttar Pradesh Govt. Plans to Provide Subsidized Agri-Equipment to Farmers

The Uttar Pradesh Government led by Shri. Yogi Adityanath is set to provide subsidized agricultural equipment to farmers via an e-lottery system. To implement this the agriculture department will conduct the lottery across all 75 districts under the supervision of District Magistrates on August 7 and 8. 

Application for Subsidized Agri-Equipment Have Already Been Received

Bookings for agricultural equipment on subsidy have already been made for which the last date was 12th July. Bookings were made through departmental portal under various schemes, including Promotion of Agricultural Mechanisation for In-situ Management of Crop Residue and Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanisation. Bookings for Mini Oil Mill Extraction Unit and Tarpaulin have also been made.

Subsidy Available for a Wide Range of Agri-Machinery

For the unversed, the govt. had already released news regarding its plan to provide subsidy on the purchase of Agricultural drones, combine harvesters with Super SMS, pneumatic planters, maize shellers, popping machines, batch dryers, threshing floors, mini warehouses, oil extraction units, sugarcane settling planters, power weeders, and more.
