U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has expressed strong optimism about the imminent finalization of a comprehensive trade deal between India and the United States, stating that both nations have reached a common ground that genuinely benefits each side. Speaking at the eighth edition of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) in Washington, Lutnick said a deal can be expected in the “not-too-distant future,” highlighting that the right negotiators are now at the table from both countries.
