Solar Industries India has secured defence export orders worth Rs 1,400 crore for supplying defence products to overseas. Notably, the orders have been awarded to the company and its subsidiary by international clients. It will be expected to meet over the next four years.
The company revealed that neither the promoter group nor any group company has any interest in the customer entities. Moreover, the transaction does not fall under related-party dealings.
Solar industries in the financial year 2026
In the Q2 press release, the company said that the defence division delivered its best ever performance, with quarterly revenue crossing Rs 500 crore and half-year revenue touching Rs 900 crore. This signals the growth if 57% year-on-year in Q2 and 79% in the first half of the year. Now, the defence order book is valued at more than Rs 15,500 crore. The Total order book was at Rs 17,100 crore.
International revenues surpassed a previous record
The company’s international revenues have surpassed a previous record by crossing Rs 960 crore in the quarter. Additionally, the company reported a 21% year-on-year growth in its overseas operations. It is driven by expansion into new markets and steady demand across key geographies. The solar industries’ share price has gained substantially over past few months, increasing nearly 39.83% so far this year.
