The centre govt. is likely to release 20th installment of of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan Yojana) scheme by June, however the date is still not confirmed. Under this scheme, govt. transfers a payment of ₹2,000 directly to the bank accounts of eligible farmers. It is worth to note that govt. has already released the 19th installment of the scheme in February 2025.
Releasing Date of 20th Installment of the Scheme
As per the media reports, the govt. is likely to release the installment on 20th June 2025, though no official announcement has been made by govt. for the same. The beneficiary of the scheme needs to have their e-KYC done to avail the benefits of the scheme. The government has made it mandatory for all PM-KISAN beneficiaries to complete their e-KYC, failing to do will lead to exclusion from the beneficiary list.
Further, Farmers whose land records are incomplete or unverified may also face delays or rejections.
