Kinnaur apple season 2025 has concluded with a total of 33.53 million boxes, which have been dispatched from the Himalayan region. Though Kinnaur apple supply 2025 is slightly below last year’s record, the output has reinforced Kinnaur’s position as one of India’s leading apple-producing areas. Kinnaur apples which are known for their sweetness, crisp texture, and deep red colour are considered as one of the most premium apple varieties in Indian wholesale markets. According, to local data, 12,671 vehicles transported the fruit from the mountain orchards to 11 major distribution points across the country. Delhi received over one million boxes, while Mumbai and Bithal were also key destinations.
Within Kinnaur, the Pooh block recorded the highest production with more than one million boxes, followed by Nichar and Kalpa. The Horticulture sector India confirmed that dispatches are nearly complete and stated that “With dispatches nearly complete, the Chaura apple inspection barrier will officially close on November 15, marking the end of this year’s transport season.”
The conclusion of the Kinnaur apple season signals the start of winter in the region. Despite weather fluctuations and shifting market conditions, Kinnaur apples grower continue to sustain local employment and contribute to India’s fruit supply chain and apple industry growth.
