In a significant step towards fostering smooth collaboration between the rice export industry and govt. authorities, Dr. Prem Garg, National President and Dev Garg, Vice President of Indian Rice Exporters Federation (IREF) made a courtesy visit to Shri Ajay Bhadoo, IAS, Additional Secretary, & Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
During the meeting, Dr. Garg stressed on highlighting the role of IREF in representing the interests of rice exporters across the nation. Dr. Garg also introduced the key objectives of Indian Rice Exporters Federation. His meeting with Additional Secretary Ajay Bhadoo, IAS was aimed at sharing valuable information about the upcoming Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2025 which is scheduled to take place at Bharat Mandapam on 30 & 31st October 2025.
Dr. Garg was accompanied by Dr. Prasanta Kumar Swain, the National Vice President of Indian Rice Exporters Federation (IREF). This meeting was another milestone in IREF ongoing efforts to strengthen ties with key government stakeholders. Dr. Prem Garg, National President and Dev Garg, Vice President of Indian Rice Exporters Federation presented a memento of BIRC 2025 to Shri Ajay Bhadoo.
