India Israel FTA: Nations Enter into Negotiations for FTA

India Israel FTA has entered into a new phase as both the nations have signed the Terms of Reference for a Free Trade Agreement. The Union Minister of Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal announced that the two countries have decided to enter into negotiations for FTA. He further highlighted that the two nations have unlimited possibilities and potential to expand India Israel trade. The following can also be translated as Israel sign framework to resume trade talks as India offers vast and promising investment opportunities for Israeli businesses. India foreign trade with Israel is seen as a positive sign to international trade news as industries on both sides can significantly deepen cooperation in sectors such as infrastructure development, manufacturing and artificial intelligence, Goyal said while addressing the India-Israel Business Summit in Tel Aviv alongside Israel’s Minister of Economy Nir Barkat.

He further added that soon after having executed a bilateral investment treated, both the treaty and India Israel FTA will open doors to greater market access, flow of capital, investments and trade, both in goods and services. Further the Free Trade Agreement will also remove obstacles to doing business, provide clarity, predictability, and stability to our economic engagement.
