Dr. Prem Garg, National President, IREF Announces BIRC 2025 Amid Iran-Israel War
The Indian Rice Exporters Federation (IREF) held a press conference to address current concerns amid Iran-Israel War and its impact on Indian rice exports. During the press conference Dr. Prem Garg, the National President of Indian Rice Exporters Federation (IREF) announced a major global event which is scheduled to take place in October 2025.
Speaking to the media, Dr. Prem Garg, National President of Indian Rice Exporters Federation (IREF), confirmed that the Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2025 will be held on October 30 & 31st, 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Dr. Garg further added that BIRC 2025 will be organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, GoI. Through APEDA. “The global event will serve as a platform to bring governments, exporters, millers, buyers, logistics partners, and policymakers together to stabilize and strategize for the future of global rice trade,” said Dr. Garg.
The National President of IREF also stressed on the rising concerns among Indian exporters due to the Israel-Iran conflict.
