BIRC 2025 garners Global Attention as the Indian Embassies in Denmark and Liberia promote the event

BIRC 2025 garners global attention as the Embassy of India in Denmark and Liberia actively promoted the social event on their respective social media handles and appealed to the rice stakeholders in their region to participate in the event.

Taking to X(formerly Twitter), the official handle of the Embassy of India in Monrovia, Liberia, by the username @IndiainLiberia shared a brief press release announcing that the IREF in collaboration with, Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), a nodal Agricultural and Processed Food export promotion Authority, under Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India is organizing the Bharat International Rice Conference 2025 (BIRC 2025), scheduled to be held during October 30-31, 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Furthermore, the Embassy of India, Denmark, under the handle India in Denmark, had mentioned the details of BIRC 2025 on its official Facebook account, including an image of the respective logo of BIRC 2025. In addition, both embassies have shared the BIRC 2025 on their official websites, further encouraging its visibility among the international audience.

Interestingly, Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2025 will be held on October 30 & 31, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. BIRC 2025, one of the largest conferences related to rice, will be organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, GoI. Through APEDA, the global event will serve as a platform to bring governments, exporters, millers, buyers, logistics partners, and policymakers together to stabilise and strategise for the future of global rice trade

On a related note, Dr. Prem Garg, National President of Indian Rice Exporters Federation (IREF) emphasised the conference’s role in addressing critical agricultural issues. Discussing the issue of banning pesticides in Agriculture to Save Human Health and India’s Global Rice Trade, he stated: “We’ve invited agricultural leaders and startups to the BIRC 2025 to raise awareness and educate farmers on the dangers of pesticides. If farmers suffer today by stopping their use, they’ll gain tomorrow through better prices and healthier crops”.
