Bihar government is continuously working for the upliftment of farmers, the govt. is focused on launching new schemes to boost farmers. Now, under the new agro-forestry scheme of Bihar government, the govt. has launched Krishi Vaniki Yojana 2025. The scheme is aimed at promoting farmers to plant trees on their agricultural land.
The initiative aims at encouraging farmers to buy saplings Rs 10 each and receive a benefit of Rs 70 per plant after three years. However, government has listed down certain conditions to avail the benefit of this scheme. Under the scheme, government will provide saplings for just Rs 10 each and receive a benefit of Rs 70 per plant after three years. The plants must be cared and survive for at least three years. The goal is not just focused on encouraging farmers but also to improve the quality of crop.
Saplings of plants like Sheesham, Guava, Amla, Lemon, Mahogany, Teak, Jamun, Kachnar, Mango, Eucalyptus (Nilgiri), Neem, Kadamba, Peepal, Banyan, Baheda, and Palash are included under this scheme, farmers must purchase at least 100 plants to get benefit from the scheme.
