Union Minister Nitin Gadkari while speaking at an event said that he firmly believes that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will bring a revolution in the agriculture sector further improving the conditions of farmers.
While backing his statement on the use of AI the Union Minister said that everyone must visit Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Baramati and experience the innovative methods being adopted there. He further added that AI will definitely help farmers and will bring revolutionary changes in agriculture sector.
Artificial Intelligence and Ethanol Production Will Benefit Farmers
Apart from Artificial Intelligence the Union Road Transport Minister, Shri Nitin Gadkari also spoke about the benefits of ethanol production for farmers. The minister added that 350-400 factories produce ethanol in the country and farmers are getting benefit from it.
He further added that with ethanol production from maize, farmers have earned Rs 45,000 crore, whereas the maize rate earlier was Rs 1,200 per quintal, which has now increased to Rs 2,800 per quintal. Also, the agricultural area under maize has tripled further increasing the benefit for farmers. While speaking on the social media rage over blending of 20 per cent ethanol in petrol fuel, Gadkari said that it was a “paid campaign” to target him politically. Nitin Gadkari attended an event in New Delhi, where while addressing the media he said that farmers are finding it difficult to grow Soybean crop as rates are not good and production is also less.
