The 5th Anniversary of Australia-India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership was celebrated at the Australian High Commissioner’s residence in New Delhi. The event witnessed the presence of dignitaries from both the nations, including the Hon. Richard Marles MP, Deputy Prime Minister of Australia and Minister for Defence, and the Hon. Dr. S. Jaishankar, India’s Minister for External Affairs.
The event was hosted by Philip Green, Australia’s High Commissioner to commemorate the 5th Anniversary of the Australia-India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The celebration at High Commissioner’s residence lawns underscored the bilateral ties between Australia and India, which has increased significantly with time. Dr. Prem Garg, National President of the Indian Rice Exporters Federation (IREF) wasalso the part of this celebration. Dr. Garg shared information about BIRC 2025 with ministers and ambassadors. Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2025 which is scheduled to take place at Bharat Mandapam on 30 & 31st October 2025 will bring together key policymakers, stakeholders, and rice industry leaders from over 170 countries.
The Gala Reception not only marked the celebration of strong trade relationship between India and Australia but also witnessed an opportunity for meaningful discussion on future bilateral ties that perfectly aligns with the spirit of upcoming rice summit.
