As part of a major initiative to promote the upcoming Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2025, Dr. Prem Garg extended an invitation to Lakshmi Srinivas Pothula from Mahalakshmi Agro rich and another key rice stakeholder for this landmark event, which is BIRC 2025, one of the world’s largest rice conferences. The event is scheduled to be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on October 30–31, 2025.
In addition, during the interaction, Dr. Prem Garg also highlighted the significant role of the Indian Rice Exporters Federation in representing the interests of rice exporters across the nation. He introduced the Federation’s key objectives and emphasized its commitment to strengthening India’s position in the global rice trade, along with the discussions focused on sharing insights about the BIRC 2025.
BIRC 2025: Premier global event dedicated to Rice
The Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2025 will serve as a premier global event dedicated to rice. Organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, through APEDA, the event intends to bring together governments, exporters, millers, buyers, logistics partners, and policymakers. The goal is to collaboratively strategize and stabilize the future of the global rice trade.
