Haryana CM Inaugurates Rabi Agriculture Fair in Hisar

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini inaugurated the Rabi agriculture fair in Hisar with an aim to help farmers adopt agricultural diversification and give priority to the production of coarse grains. The chief minister of Haryana assured farmers for continuous support by government and standing firmly by them to make agriculture more profitable and sustainable. Notably, the Rabi (winter) cropping season typically starts in October 2025 in India, with sowing beginning around mid-November and harvesting occurring from April to June.

Rabi Agriculture Fair for Haryana Farmers to Embrace New Opportunities

The Rabi Agriculture Fair inaugurated by Haryana govt. will encourage farmers to embrace new opportunities and take more concrete steps to make agriculture more profitable and sustainable. CM while addressing the gathering at the inauguration event said that the government will continue to provide all possible facilities including incentives and support to families in this direction. Worthless to say Indian govt. is striving hard to boost the agriculture sector be it be the insurance schemes, be it be mega agriculture awareness mela, cum Kisan Mela at Srinagar, the Indian govt. is leaving no stone unturned to boost the agriculture sector.

Har Ghar Chhaon Har Ghar Phal Scheme

During the inauguration of the Rabi Agriculture Fair organised by Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, the Chief minister also launched the Har Ghar Chhaon Har Ghar Phal‘ scheme, under which 55,000 fruit saplings will be distributed free of cost in 110 villages across 22 districts. As part of this initiative, saplings were handed over to farmers during the event. The Chief Minister further distributed dummy cheques of up to Rs 40,000 to 50 cattle rearers under the Conservation and Development of Indigenous Cows and Murrah Development scheme. Dairy establishment approval letters were also provided to 75 women entrepreneurs.

In the queue were the inauguration of the Dattopant Thengadi Agricultural Entrepreneurship Centre on the university campus and also inaugurated the Kalpana Chawla Women’s Hostel and Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Women’s Hostel.
