While sharing the image of BIRC 2025 on X(formerly Twitter), the handle of the Embassy of Syria by the username @eoidamascusn stated: “@Irefindia in collaboration with @APEDADOC is organising Bharat International Rice Conference 2025 (BIRC 2025), from October 30–31, 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Notably,Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2025 will be held on October 30 & 31, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. BIRC 2025, one of the largest conferences related to rice, will be organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, GoI. Through APEDA, the global event will serve as a platform to bring governments, exporters, millers, buyers, logistics partners, and policymakers together to stabilise and strategise for the future of global rice trade
While considering the matter of banning Pesticides to save human health and India’s Global Rice Trade. Dr.Prem Garg, National President of Indian Rice Exporters Federation (IREF), said: “We’ve invited agricultural leaders and startups to the BIRC 2025 to raise awareness and educate farmers on the dangers of pesticides. If farmers suffer today by stopping their use, they’ll gain tomorrow through better prices and healthier crops”.
