In the series of latest developments, the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) has officially agreed to become a partner for the Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2025, the world’s largest rice conference that is scheduled to be held on October 30th and October 31st, 2025, at Bharat Manadapam, New Delhi.
During the course of this announcement, Dr. Prem Garg, National President of IREF & Chairman of Shri Lal Mahal Group, accompanied by Dev Garg, National Vice President of IREF, met Chirag Paswan, Union Minister of Food Processing Industries in India, and extended an invitation to BIRC 2025. Not only this, but Dr. Garg also briefed Chirag Paswan about the initiatives already undertaken for the world’s largest rice conference, the Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC), including national and international outreach, participation by industry stakeholders, and support from embassies across the globe.
BIRC 2025- a global event dedicated to Rice
The Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2025 will serve as a premier global event dedicated to rice. Organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, through APEDA, the event intends to bring together governments, exporters, millers, buyers, logistics partners, and policymakers. The goal is to collaboratively strategize and stabilize the future of the global rice trade.
